What an amazing day we had celebrating World Book Day! Our P1–4 children took part in a live art lesson inspired by The Snail and the Whale. This was followed by cosy hot chocolate, creative bookmark designing, and lots of wonderful book chat.
In the afternoon, the boys and girls participated in the Read On Challenge, raising an impressive amount of money for Cancer Fund for Children.
Our P5–7 pupils are very much looking forward to their live art lesson tomorrow insipred by the book Charlotte's Web. We would also like to say a huge thank you to our Parent Support Group for providing the most amazing bookmarks for every child in the school, kindly supplied by the local business Sawdust and Stitches.
We certainly have some very lucky boys and girls! Now… just one more page before bedtime!
