World Book Day and Relax Kids in P6 & P7
Our P6 and P7 pupils had a very busy and enjoyable week in class! Last week they took part in Relax Kids, where they explored ways to relax, build confidence and look after their wellbeing through a range of fun and calming activities.
We also had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day together. Pupils enjoyed cosy reading time with hot chocolates and were delighted to receive beautiful handmade bookmarks, kindly created by one of our very talented parents – a lovely treat to encourage even more reading.
To finish off our celebrations, the class joined a live World Book Day art lesson, where pupils created fantastic drawings inspired by Charlotte’s Web. The activity linked perfectly with our Children’s Mental Health Week theme, reminding us how stories, creativity and friendship can help us look after our wellbeing.
Alongside this, pupils are continuing to work on their ICT Accreditation task, using their iPads and computers to research, collaborate and present their ideas while working in groups.
Well done to all our P6 and P7 pupils for their enthusiasm, teamwork and creativity throughout the week!
