Our P1 and P2 children had a wonderful morning taking their small world play outdoors. They worked together enthusiastically, creating imaginative little homes and habitats for their characters using natural materials. The weather added an exciting extra element to their learning, as the snow and ice helped the children explore how different textures feel when dry, cold, and wet. This hands?on experience encouraged teamwork, creativity, and lots of discussion as the children experimented and adapted their ideas. It was a joyful, engaging session, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to learn through play in our wintery outdoor environment.
