Today, the children had a fantastic time exploring shapes through a variety of engaging outdoor activities in Killyman PS. The children eagerly participated in a shape scavenger hunt, where they searched for different geometric shapes hidden around the playground. They also enjoyed creating large shapes using colourful chalk on the pavement, working together to form circles, squares, and triangles. The children worked in their teams to create shape patterns and they took photographs of the various shapes that they could find. The laughter and excitement were palpable as the children learned about shapes in a fun and interactive environment, fostering both their physical and cognitive development.
