This morning the boys and girls from Laghey PS and Killyman PS generously donated lots of non-perishable items to Sally-Ann, a representative from Dungannon Vineyard Foodbank/Storehouse. Sally-Ann spoke with the children about the purpose of the foodbank and the children had the opportunity to ask questions and were provided with information about how families can access the foodbank if needed and how to make future donations. We all had a very enjoyable and rewarding morning and finished up with a story called “No Money Day”. Sally-Ann was very pleased with the amount of goods donated. It was a great learning experience for all involved.
