Today, our Primary 1&2 class had a very exciting visitor—a firefighter! He came to talk to the children all about his important job and how firefighters help keep everyone safe. The children listened carefully as he explained what he does during emergencies and the special equipment he uses.
The highlight of the visit was when the children got to see his uniform up close and even try on his helmet! They were thrilled and asked lots of great questions about fire engines and how firefighters put out fires. It was a fantastic learning experience that helped the children understand the role of community helpers and it links in with our WAU topic, superheroes- helpers in our community!
