TheP1&2 children have been very busy this week - we have been talking about measuring in maths. The children were introduced to some mathematical language we use when discussing length and height - the children arranged themselves in height order within our class, we then took our learning outside and measured our favourite dinosaurs and then we put the dinosaurs in order of height too!
We also went to visit the Little Acorns garden and took the opportunity to explore capacity. The children enjoyed talking about whether the pipes and bowls were full, half full or empty. Great active maths skills on display this week, everyone!
