Little Acorns Playgroup

Little Acorns Playgroup is situated in the grounds of Laghey Primary School. It is a cross-community playgroup, founded 20 years ago, to meet the increasing demand for pre-school provision in the Killyman area. Since its founding, it has grown from strength to strength and is now full to capacity each year, taking in its maximum of 23 children this year and also offering an additional afternoon session for part time pupils. Fully trained staff meet all needs of the children, who are admitted from the age of 3.

The playgroup is very well equipped, with resources for all areas of play, and have recently been developing the garden area to expand their opportunities for outdoor learning. Little Acorns also benefits from the facilities of the main school and their children enjoy the use of the main hall for their physical play and Christmas performances.
